Licenses, Dependencies and Quality
Review product rights, dependency risk, security reports and publication quality.
Licenses
Read the license, confirm commercial-use rules, check redistribution rights and confirm that the seller owns the rights to publish the product. This matters for both buyers and sellers. Buyers need to know whether the component can be used commercially. Sellers need to avoid publishing third-party code they do not have permission to redistribute.
Dependencies
Boilerplate can detect dependencies from package.json, pom.xml, Gradle build files and dependency declarations. Dependencies affect safety, licensing and purchase requirements. If a product depends on paid components, check whether those dependencies are already owned or must be added to the cart. Dependency metadata can also influence verification results and product safety signals.
Security reports
If a product is rejected or marked because of dependent sources, update unsafe dependencies, retry the version or contact support when the issue cannot be resolved. Buyers should avoid products marked as malware, violation, quarantine or unresolved error unless support or the seller has provided a clear resolution.
