What verification checks protect
Verification is not only a visual badge. It protects the purchase and publish flow by checking whether the product can be parsed, whether required metadata exists, whether dependencies and licenses are understandable, and whether security findings need review. A product can be visible as a draft to the seller while still being blocked from public buyers until these checks pass.
